Dirty Little Secrets (3 sub-boards) these are characters' journals. You don't HAVE to have one for all characters. It's completely optional. But it'll give you something to do in-between posts. Just write down their thoughts, recent events, etc.--like you would a real diary or journal. NOTE: One thread per character. Just reply to the thread for more entries. A plotting board is also found in here. Moderator: [+]Rabbit[+]

Silent Cove: The City That Never Sleeps
McKinley Museum A large, multi-floored museum. It has several rooms on each floor, and every room has a different theme. The first floor has a lobby, where people sign in and get their tickets, the planetarium, a dinosaur bones exhibit, and the tech room, plus a small gift shop. The second floor has the war room, the colonial room, the space room, and a sci-fi room. The top floor has two large rooms. One is filled with art: paintings, sculptures, etc. The other is the music room, with small exhibits of insanely famous old bands, plus some modern ones.

They sell dogs, cats, tarantulas, iguanas, chinchillas, guinea pigs, ferrets, all kinds of birds, fish, geckos, and snakes. They also sell horses out back, where they have a barn and large pasture.

Emergency Animal Clinic This small clinic takes both emergencies and regular vet appointments. If a pet is hurt, sick, or needs to be put down, it’s a good idea to come here. They take animals of all sizes, and give them all the best care possible.

The Alibi A sports bar and grille that has several large-screen TV’s, playing several sports at a time, every day. They’re open 24-7 and serve all meals, plus drinks. Tuesdays are family nights, from 5P to 8P, and serve kid-friendly meals (but no alcoholic drinks). Any other time, it’s large steaks, burgers, and beer. A sports fan’s paradise.

Morrie's Another of the town’s bars, also open 24/7. But this one doesn’t have a family night, and the bouncers actually read ID. Nobody under 18 is allowed in and nobody under 21 to drink. They have a large front room, with the bar, plus a stage that people sometimes sing on (usually when drunk.) The back room has some pool tables, and the bathroom.

Toxic Heat A nifty little Internet café. They have laptops at every table, which are perfectly capable of printing—the printer is located by the cash register, ten cents a page—and, obviously, surfing the net. The café serves coffee, donuts, pretzels, muffins, smoothies, and other forms of snacks and light meals.

StarBucks What kind of town would this be without StarBucks? They serve what many people know as life-saving coffee, both frozen and traditional. Of course, this one isn’t normal; it has a top floor, and a balcony for outdoor use. This StarBucks also serves donuts and other random pastries, on top of their world-famous coffee.
Memorial Park (1 sub-board) A big, beautiful park. It has a five-mile path that goes all the way around it, and through the nearby woods, a large playground, a fenced-in area for dogs to run around in, a Japanese Garden, a place to feed the ducks (who always seem to be there), and those little workout station randomly placed along the walking trail. There are also large areas of just grass, with beautiful dogwood and oak trees.
Dewey Beach (2 sub-boards) A large, beautiful stretch of beach. The sands are white, and the water clear. The waves are sizeable—though not as big as the ones in Surfer’s Cove—and people often swim, body surf, and surf in the cool water. There are also those who tan, place volleyball or Frisbee, or just come at night to watch the water.
The Olympic A popular gym/fitness club. They have equipment and areas for almost any activity: two large rooms with workout equipment, for weight lifting and stuff, two racquetball/wallball courts, two outdoor basketball courts, an indoor pool, an outdoor pool, a rock climbing wall, and a large field that can be set up for soccer, football, or field hockey.

Public Pool Even though the town is by the ocean, people often prefer this public pool. It has three main areas: one is the large lap pool, which is also used for swim competitions, an even larger swim area that goes from fifteen feet (the diving area, with a three-foot diving board, and a ten-foot one), to five feet, then to three feet at the shallow end. Then, there’s the kiddie pool—only six inches deep. Plus, they have three lifeguards on duty at all time, and a great snack stand.

The Purple Iguana A multi-business building. It has three main things: in the front, is a hair salon, where people can get their hair cut, styled, dyed, etc. In the back is the salon, which does facials, massages, and other things salons do, and also has tanning booths. Also, there's a tattoo parlor.

District Library With tens of thousands of books, and literally unlimited research resources, this massive library is a geek's paradise. The books are separated meticulously by the ever-reliable Dewey Decimal System. This building is so massive, that there are free maps of it at the front desk, for anyone who wants one. There are plenty of places to sit and read, do homework, research, etc. The librarians are pretty tolerant, but it`s still a very good idea to keep quiet.

Alleged Myth Manor Located at the very edge of the city, is Alleged Myth Manor. It`s actually a horseback riding facility with services available to the public. Sprawled across 75 acres, there are many spacious paddocks, enclosed by white fences, similar to those found in Kentucky. There are four barns, situated in various places across the property; a brood mare barn for the foaling mares, a stallion barn, a gelding barn, and finally, the largest and nicest barn, the riding horses. AMM has over one hundred horses, including various breeds, the most abundant being Thoroughbred and Arabians. Toward the edge of the property, are many trails that go through the wood, providing one with a very pleasant trail ride. There are some arena`s for Dressage, Jumping, and Barrel racing, as well as some for lessons and free rides. Boarding is available for the public`s horses as well.

Other Places For those times when you just need to post in a place that doesn't already have its own board, this is the perfect place. It can be literally anywhere. A different country. An alley. Whatever. It's your choice. Who knows, if people post in a certain place enough, it might even become it`s own board.

The Wrong Side Of The Tracks
Abandoned Building A large, empty building, which appears to have been abandoned many years ago. It’s almost the only place, other than the ghetto, that crimes happen—bodies have turned up here, as well as drugs and syringes. It’s also a popular runaway destination. It hasn’t had so many police casualties, luckily.

The Ghetto {The 'Hood} Yes, even Silent Cove has one. It’s probably the only area that has trouble. And it’s bad. Over the years, many police officers have tried to come in and sort out the problem, even undercover, but somehow, the people that live here know who the cops are. Many of said cops have died. Burglaries, murders, and other violent crimes happen here. Luckily, though, it’s on the outskirts of town, and is pretty well contained in this one area.

The Cemetery This is where the dead are buried.Surrounded by short black iron fence, it`s pretty much how you would picture the perfect cemetery to be. It's a large plot of land, with too many gravestones to count, in tons of different varieties. Some of the graves are decorated by family members who make it a habit to visit the graves of their loved ones a couple times a year. But sadly, there are those who are forgotten. Many graves date back to the 1800s. There haven't been any grave robberies, though. Not since the new owner came along. And the grass is well-kept, too.
